Communities Connect Network (CCN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering meaningful connections within and between communities. Recognizing the vital role of social interaction in individual well-being and community health, CCN aims to bridge gaps, empower individuals, and cultivate a more inclusive and supportive society.

Program Areas

CCN focus on several key program areas:

Community Building Initiatives

  • To empower individuals and strengthen communities by fostering meaningful connections, promoting social inclusion, and supporting the well-being of all members in underserved communities through education, technology, and advocacy.

 

  • Campus Community connect Clubs; Organize student groups to do volunteer and charity work with the college university community.

 

  • Volunteer programs: Connect volunteers with local organizations and causes that align with their interests.

Social Support Services

  • Senior companionship programs: Provide companionship and support to isolated seniors through regular visits and social activities.

 

  • Mentorship programs: Connect youth with mentors to provide guidance, support, and role models.

  • Support groups: Facilitate support groups for individuals facing challenges such as loneliness, grief, or chronic illness.

  • Health Care support: Provide support for individuals with critical healthcare needs in very low-income communities

CCN explores various funding sources

  • Grants: Receive grants from foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors

 

  • Donations:  Solicit individual and corporate donations.

 

  • Fundraising events: Organize fundraising events such as galas, auctions, community, cookouts and many more.

 

  • Partnerships: Collaborate with other non-profit organizations, businesses, and government agencies to leverage resources and expand reach.
Organizational Structure
  • CCN is governed by a volunteer board of directors and staffed by a small team of dedicated professionals and volunteers.
Evaluation and Impact Assessment
  • CCN regularly evaluates the effectiveness of its programs and track its impact on the community. Data collection and analysis is used to inform program improvements and ensure that CCN is meeting the needs of its target population.
